About Us
Who we are
Compassionate. Professional. Non-judgmental.
At Fundamental Foot Care, we believe no one should suffer in silence or lose their dignity over something as preventable as poor foot health. Our purpose is simple and powerful: to transform how people view foot care, not as a luxury, but as a vital part of maintaining overall health, independence, and quality of life.
We exist to make expert, medically based foot care accessible, compassionate, and routine, especially for older adults, those with chronic illnesses, and individuals with special needs or sensory sensitivities. We believe that when your feet are cared for, your whole life improves.

Meet the Founder
Heather Fogg, RN, BSN – Foot Care Nurse & Advocate
Heather Fogg’s journey into nursing and foot care wasn’t traditional—but it was deeply intentional. Her connection to the aging population began in childhood and grew through volunteering, caregiving, and life experience. When her own parents began aging, Heather left a career in business to pursue work that felt more meaningful—eventually leading group homes for adults with complex mental and medical needs.
What began as a heart-led decision soon became a lifelong calling. Heather returned to school, earned her RN and later her BSN, and worked in medical-surgical and cardiac care units at top hospitals in Maine. There, she witnessed a troubling trend: people losing mobility, independence, and even limbs due to preventable foot issues.
Determined to be part of the solution, she founded Fundamental Foot Care to provide proactive, preventative foot care that helps people live longer, healthier, and more comfortable lives.
